Dental Hygienists
LISA
My name is Lisa Evans Pickelsimer. I have been a hygienist with this dental office since June 1991 and have been in dentistry since 1985. My husband and I have a beautiful daughter and grandson. At any event with our dental office, you can bet that I’ll have a camera as I love photography. On the weekends, you can always find us boating, scalloping, ATV riding, or doing anything outdoors!
ELIZABETH
My name is Elizabeth Clupper and I have been a dental hygienist with this office since November 2000. I am a native Floridian and graduated from Santa Fe College in Gainsville. My wife and I love the beach, hiking, kayaking, live music, and spending time with our boys!
CELI
My name is Araceli Bornacelli, but everyone calls me Celi! I have been with the dental office since 2005 and have found a second family! I was raised in Chicago, and I love visiting there to see family and friends. I am also fluent in Spanish. My husband Larry and I have two young daughters, Lily and Adeline, who, needless to say, keep us very busy! One of my passions outside of family and work is my love of music of all kinds. I look forward to seeing you here in the dental office!
SARAH
My name is Sarah Folan, and I have been with this dental office since 1997, serving in several capacities. I had the fortune of serving as Dr. Nofsinger’s chairside assistant for 14 years. I then decided to go back to school for my dental hygiene degree. Upon graduation, I found myself back here at my second “home” as a hygienist, and I have been doing so ever since. A graduate of Lyman High School, my husband Tim and I have a son, Jacob, and enjoy boating and fishing.
CARRIE
My name is Carrie Padgett and I have had the privilege of being a part of Distinctive Dentistry on Maitland since 1998! For over 25 years I have watched this practice grow, while keeping that small family feel. The Doctors, my coworkers, and my patients are like family to me and have made it a pleasure to make this my career home. I grew up in Longwood and attended Mars Hill University outside of Asheville, NC.
My amazing husband Mark and I have two beautiful daughters, Emma and Anna. My greatest joy is spending quality time with them!!
LAURIE
Hi! My name is Laurie McMillan. I was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Florida in 1992. I have been working in dentistry since 1985, and I found my new home away from home here at Distinctive Dentistry on Maitland on August 1st, 2018. It is such a pleasure to be a part of an amazing team like this one. I’ve met so many wonderful patients and I look forward to seeing you and your family soon too! My husband and I have two children named Michael and Katelyn. Outside of work, I love spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, and simply enjoying life. As always, GO NOLES!
MICHELLE
My name is Michelle Campbell, and I have been a dental hygienist here at our dental office since 2017. I’m so proud to be part of such an amazing team! On a personal note, I’m an Orlando native, growing up in Longwood and attending Lake Brantley High School. I also lived for many years in New Orleans, teaching part-time at the LSU School of Dentistry. In my free time, I enjoy running and cheering on the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers!

Hi! My name is Amber Joseph. I relocated to Orlando from Ohio in 2019 with my husband and our two Wheaten Terriers. When I'm not at work, you'll find me spending time with friends, embarking on outdoor adventures with my dogs and rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes. I’m grateful to be a part of the incredible team at Distinctive Dentistry and love working with our amazing patients!

My name is Tiffany Bradley. I started with the dental office as a dental assisting intern in 2000, and upon graduation from Orlando Tech, I was hired in January of 2001. I drive every day from Volusia County and pass many other dental offices before I reach ours. I really love this dental office, the doctors, my fellow staff members, and especially our awesome patients! I have a passion for dentistry and teaching. In 2010 I received my undergraduate degree in Technical Education and Industry Training from UCF. My husband Scot and I enjoy spending time with our two boys.

Hi My Name Is Julie! I’ve Been a Dental Assistant Since 2005. I chose the Dental Field Because This Profession Allows Me to See Our Patients Smile. During My Free Time, I Enjoy Spending Time With My Family and My Grandson. I Love Traveling, Music, and Spending Time in the Sun at the Beach!

I’m Kelli, your hygiene coordinator. I’ve had the pleasure of calling this dental office home since 2005. When I’m not here welcoming new or returning patients, I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband and daughter as well as my family and friends. I enjoy playing sports, staying fit and healthy, and traveling all while having fun! Being a part of our team has given me the opportunity to foster relationships with many of our patients and our phenomenal team. Getting to meet our new patients or catching up with old ones makes my workday FUN. I look forward to welcoming you to our dental office!
BECKY
My name is Becky Meyer, and I have been a scheduling coordinator for over 30 years. I moved to Central Florida five years ago and have found a special place here since 2012. My husband and I have one amazing daughter, and on the weekends, I enjoy bird watching, hiking, going to the beach, and just spending time with my family.
SANDY
My name is Sandy Hay, and I am the financial coordinator. I have been in the dental field for 30 years. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing outdoor sports, and spending time with family and friends. I am very fortunate to call this dental office not only my workplace, but my second home. It is a pleasure to work with so many professional, talented, and caring people.

JULIE MURPHY
My name is Julie Murphy. I grew up in the Central Florida area and graduated from Lake Brantley High School. I discovered my passion for dentistry in 2013. I strive to make my patients feel comfortable and at ease. I have 3 children, 2 cats, and too many house plants. In my free time me and family enjoy paddleboarding, hiking, traveling, and riding four wheelers.

Our Dental Laboratory
DOUG
I’m Douglas Jackson, and my career in the dental field spans over 45 years so far, with many of them spent right here at Distinctive Dentistry on Maitland. I attended Valencia Community College and have also studied at world-renowned dental institutions like the Dawson Center and the Pankey Institute. I love working in a team-oriented environment and going above and beyond to exceed each patient’s expectations. My patient nature makes me a great fit for laboratory work! I’m an Orlando native and have a blended family with three grown sons. My wife worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Roger Nofsinger in the 1970’s and early 1980’s. Outside of the dental office, my interests include reading and trivia.
KEVIN
I’m Kevin, and I’m originally from Sand Springs, OK. I’ve been working in dentistry for over 25 years and first joined Distinctive Dentistry on Maitland a little over five years ago. I’m retired from the US Air Force and actually completed my AAS degree in dental laboratory technology at the Community College of The Air Force. I’ve also certified in crown & bridge and advanced porcelain techniques. What I enjoy most about my work is interacting with patients and being part of a team that changes so many smiles for the better. My wife Michelle and I have three children named Kyle, Madison, and Meghan. Outside of the dental office, you can usually find me smoking brisket.
